Warehouse items are generally shipped within ten business days of order receipt. Manufactured items are shipped when manufacturing of components are completed. Customer has the option of receiving partial orders, which are individually subject to shipping charges. Marine Electrical Product’s (MEP) preferred method is to ship complete orders.
Orders placed online will be shipped via UPS ground service. Shipping charges are calculated automatically through dynamic shipping rate lookup services based upon Zip code and package weight. Small items ordered online, less than one pound, have the option of shipment via USPSS flat rate shipping. Rates can be obtained from the USPS website. Larger or bulky items will require additional postage.
International orders are subject to additional shipping charges plus applicable DUTY or VAT as required by country to be shipped to. FedEx standard service or International Flat Rate USPS containers will be used, whichever method is most cost advantageous. MEP personnel will determine appropriate ship method. Additional funds required will be charged to customers credit card or account.
Orders within 50 miles of Lebanon, Missouri manufacturing plant may have local delivery rates applied. Contact MEP Customer Service for details.
Large, heavy, or bulky shipments will be routed via common carrier, LTL trucking services, or MEP fleet vehicles. Shipping rates will be applied upon completion of manufacturing and packaging and appropriated charges will be invoiced for each shipment. Customers have the option of receiving shipments charged “collect” to their company accounts via their preferred trucking carrier.
